Shengtong Han Assistant Professor of Biostatistics

Shengtong earned the Ph.D. in Statistics and completed postdoc training in biostatistics, statistical genetics and genomics. He is interested in statistical machine learning and data science with applications in dentistry, biostatistics, public health, (epi)genetics and genomics.

Edward Liu Master student (Nov 2022-)

Edward is a master student in applied statistics at Marquette. He is interested in developing machine learning algorithms for graphical models and applications.

Sophie Fournier Undergraduate student (Oct 2020-Dec 2021)

Sophie is a 3rd year biological sciences major at UWM. She is interested in bioinformatics and developing novel methods for rare variant (RV) association tests.

Matthew John Sanville Graduate student (Aug 2021-Jan 2022)

Matthew will be a 1st year master’s student in the Biostatistics program. His interests are in learning new statistical methods, with applications to all types of biological problems.
